Which do you prefer Deathmatch or CTF?

Which do you prefer in pvp the NEW Deathmatch or Capture the Flag?

I like Deathmatch because the map is spread out more.

I was always a CTF guy, liked it most in PL and now in AL as well.
It's not that the new map is bad or so, I just like the challenge in a CTF match.

I like DM, mainly for the map. With the trees and the open parts it gives some amount of strategy on how you move up on an enemy. In CTF you had straight corridors, not much thinking involved in how to move there.

DM because of 5 months of ctf.

Troll needs to be isolated in a room like in pocket legends (the mage)

Camera angle needs to be flipped for opposing teams.

No, I generally like the troll... he's a great weapon if you know how to use him.

I like both but really like DM. Mainly because I got tired of CtF a while back, bored me so much I didn't even finish my achievements. Bleh!

DM brings back the random 1v1 encounters with a little bit of team-fighting, the spread out map encourages that and the open area promotes bare fighting instead of using walls and such to your advantage. Ctf promotes teamfighting and strategy, but it still isnt about the flag yet (people just want to kill). So, i prefer dm

I also like DM more because it is more spread out. But I wish it were 3 vs 3 instead of 4 vs 4.

The reason is that 3-on-1 can still be managed, but 4-on-1 becomes impossible even for a good player to handle. And these games quite often end up in a situation where some of the players on one side leave because they are losing. It would be nice to be able to still hang in there and battle even when your team leaves. With 4 players on the other side, that's just impossible if they choose to stick together and gang up on you.

DM has few flaws..

1. too many blind spots
2. abusers who can use troll to their advantage
3. bad for rogues when fight around trolls
4. sometimes u spawn on opponents
5. games do not last as long as ctf games...10 games I join 7-8 of them don't end b/c
- people quit
- new joiners don't join when they see their score b/c l.31's care about their kdr?
- game seems to lock much sooner than ctf games

otherwise dm is nice for a change but I vote for CTF, it seems to be more teambased right now

The troll is part of the strategy. For example, I stun the warrior when he's standing in front of the troll, and then the troll kills him. Now the rogues who were hiding behind that warrior are fair game and I can attack them.

Also, you can use the troll as a tank too. Just run behind him and the attacks of the other players will hit the troll instead.

I like the ctf...because its a pure pvp game...what's a pvp when u have a monster inside a pvp map and my enemies all hide behind the mob and all my shot were directing to the mob so u call that pvp? Lol

Call me old fashing but I like the whole clash thing :]
I don't like the new TDM, it has a fat *** immotal at shield and you run out of mana like bam bam and I have 1,7k -_- and the mana packs are never there when i need them. If I change to Jack I die mid change.
I get troll killed (lol)
The map is too big and messy ad the trees are placed so weird that if you don't know how to use them, you get shot through a tree. I don't like that it only lasts for 20kills... And I don't like how twinks can go farm people and get a clean wipe of the PvP leaderboards.

In dm all fight ends too fast, and map in ctf is better imho
