How to deal with beggers

As the game progresses its becoming more and more impossible to chill out in a town without being begged for gold.
Its extreamly hard to walk around with a "filthy rich" title cause its like a giant target for beggers
Selling mythic items in town? i challenge you to avoid getting pms that go like "youre rich give me gold pls sir"

So i prepared a list of a few techniques that may help to cope with the problem.

1. ignore: the second a player begs you for gold inspect him and click ignore, overtime youll have a giant list of people, probably bigger than your friends list

2. repeat beg- if a player pms you "give me 2k plz" you pm him "you give me 2k plz sir", many times they stop right there, other times the trolling must go on but its fun trolling if youre not busy

3. gold troll- if you have a significant amount of gold show the begger in the trade window, let him see the fruits of hard work
not sure if that will actually work other than the fact that its fun, it might inspire the begger to beg some more, and for bigger chunks of gold.

4. snitch technique- tell the random begger youre gonna tell on him to his guild master, usually they come from small unknown guilds so you dont actually know the gm,
hell sometime the begger is the guild master -.- but give it a try

Back in the days when i found haunlet runs fun i used to gift random low lvls all the chests i found at haunlet, but now when i gift low lvls that usually follows with a pm from the player "give more plz".
I dont know if gifting to low lvls is effective anymore as it might inspire them to look for gifts from EVERYONE around them.

The way I roll with them is either
1) Act like m lagging. Not moving anywhere. 10sec ltr, exit to menu. Then play again like normal.
2) They want gold, give them gold. 1gold is enough for them to live.
3) "Give me gold sir" , "no", "pls", "no". If it continues. They are stubborn and do the first two methods

I dont like beggars. They are not putting any efforts like most of us did. We at least had fun making gold in runs. They just want instant money. Some funny beggars come to us with no clothes or rings and amulets and ask for items. Ohh hell yeah im gonna give you items poor boy. -.- heres smelly helm. Wash it first before wearing. And 5min ltr, poof. That smelly helm tirned into a legendary helm. Wow a magician.

I add them to by ignore list then i type "/reply yes i'll give you gold". Then just stand around because they can hear you but you can't hear them. This usually wastes their time and they get all excited but nothing happens. And if you want you can antagonize them by continuing to talk to them without hearing anything they have to say.

One aspect that bothers me about the ability to ignore other players is that you can only do it if you can find them and click on them to then click on the ignore button - almost always when I get a message from someone I can't see them on my screen because they clicked on me as I was walking past them, and it's too much hassle trying to wander round looking for their name floating above their toon

Why can't I simply type in "/ignore anotherannoyingbeggar" ?

You can add them manually from the social screen. Just like you can for friends
