Locked Crate
I opened a locked crate a couple hours after the update, and the update said that all epic and rare items would be removed. Well, all i got from the crate was 2 epics and a rare! I was really disappointed and I was just wondering if any devs could help me with this, maybe give me something (mythic lol). thanks
I believe they didn't remove it, yet. But they're are planning it.To increase the value of Locked Grand Crates of the Watch, we’ve increased the amount of gold and platinum drops, as well as the chance of Mythic and Arcane items. We are removing the less-sought-after Rares and Epics.

what level were you when you opened the crate? This sounds like an unintentional crumb that was left behind when we vacuumed out the rares and epics

I had the opposite happen, I got a crate before the update, I didn't open it until the update was well & truly in effect & what do you know - I received the new version of the crates. Weird old world, lol.

We've taken a look and found nothing abnormal about the locked crates. My spidey senses think it might have been an Elite Gold Chest, or Elite Silver chest of some type and not a Locked Grand Crate of the Watch you opened by mistake.Originally Posted by Spymans

Carapace it was a locked, not another chest because i ddint have any other chests. i also know its a locked crate because it gave me gold too. I had no epics or rares before i opened it, but once i opened the crate i did. could you do something about that please
Should start by going to ~Nexus~ and checking account history to see exactly what time you opened the crate. I assume you only opened the two, so you should have the two 15 plat 'charges'. With that information, perhaps they could look into it.

Aww Fluff your going to ruin his chances of a rort if you tell him to do that & he realises he has no account of the platinum being used. Actually I don't think he ever had a chance of trying to 'do something about that please', I guess you can only try.

I'm going to be perfectly honest. With the massive number of crates being opened this weekend, if there was a problem, you'd figure it would have reared its ugly head for more than 1 crate by now.

devs could you at least refund my plats? i swear all i got in one crate was epic and rare gears. could you do something about that

If you have the information in question then you can certainly talk to customer service about the issue. I don't have authority to do such things, and support contact outside of the forums will be your best bet.
We did not receive a lot information regarding crates opening with epics and rares, it's unfortunate that this happened.
How could the system not work for 1 guy who opened 1 crate while it seemed fine for literally everyone else? O.o
To the OP, maybe you saw common, rare and epics because that's how the gold/plat rewards are labeled.
