Heavy Crossbow overly strong?

So i've been using my white lvl 25 heavy crossbow, and for some reason, its better than the lvl 30 pink crossbow/bows? How does that work?
Its better in damage/dps, is there some reason for this? Is there something about crossbows thats bad?

The heavy and battle crossbows are a bit overpowered. However, there is a level 29 pink battle crossbow, and a level 30 pink heavy crossbow that should be better than yours. Also the LE Ice-auto crossbows have less damage than heavy/battle, but also have a freeze proc which can be handy. Finally the level 30 crossbows from Frozen Nightmare should also be better than your heavy. But yeah, the level 30 bows are totally underpowered unfortunately, so the only good options at that level are crossbows and talons.

I noticed this while leveling bow bear, I was amazed as well because I had full 30 dex pink and yet my bow was stronger at 25, =)

You mean the regular (not crossbow) ones, we have been saying are underpowered? I will sell you one dirt cheap

Crystalize was pure str until this update. I was leveling a random I deleted.
