Pet Gaining Exp in PvP

My guildmate(Tuma, not sure cant remember)
Told me once that he level his ribbit in PvP.
I ddnt believed him til now when i leveled my slag during pvp.


PS: I also wonder how did it gained exp, but i believe only low level pets can gain some.
Ive used lvl1slag from the start of this game above. then it reached lvl3.
I have a lvl30 slag on my sorc, but still lvl30 and doesnt gain exp.

IMO, pets should gain exp in pvp. especialy if one would take 26k exp to level.
