Why must you criticize something meant to be fun?

Anyway...OP didn't specify the type of money. Regardless whether it be paper, plastic or commodity, it will lose its value over time as the resource is infinite. It doesn't matter if it has an intrinsic value in the moment; it will still depreciate in the long-run until it loses total value.
