Couple of Questions
Hey, I just recently came back to AL after about a 6 month break so I have a couple of questions to ask:
-How much time and platinum would it take to cap a toon with a good group?
-How much time and platinum would it take to cap a toon by soloing?
-What is the best place to solo to cap?
-I am deciding between two classes for endgame: Rogue or sorcerer?
-What is the best thing to spend on platinum right now?
-Approximately when do you "think" the next platinum sale is?
Rogue!
1. You can cap with a good group within a week or two if you put in the effort. Less time than that if you don't t do anything else. Also no plat is needed to cap just dedication.
2. Probably about 10%-20% longer if you solo and again no plat needed.
3. Travelers Outpost watchers tomb then move to Nordr I believe at lvl 24 or so. Run map and leave at boss.
4. I like sorcerer better but most classes are pretty balanced now. This is purely you're choice.
When you hit level 24, I found that running Jurn Woods and Mt. Spyr in normal provides excellent XP. Do both of these stages over and over, do skip the bosses because they can be time consuming. You don't need a great party. The mobs are pretty easy. Though the XP won't be as high as running WT4, you spend less time doing these stages. Using an alt, I was able to level from 25-30 in 3 days, using no elixirs, normal playing time for me. The same character is halfway to capping using the same method. The only reason I stopped doing so is because it got tedious after a while.

Well, first, they didn't mention how much they play or what level they are starting with. So I assumed Lvl 30 playring about 5 or 6 hours a day.

Thanks guys! just wondering, how much xp is needed from 30-31?
You could cap in a day or so.
My normal playing time a day, at the time was 3-4 hours a day. This isn't counted a straight playing as I needed to put down the game to do other things. I can imagine that playing a straight full, 4 hours would grant a lot more xp.
Also the xp needed to cap is 26k.
Alright, one last question, what is the quickest "get rich" method?
Buy platinum convert to gold
