primary stats confusing

So recently i got to see that all 3 arcane pets got a bonus which is unique unlike others.
ex: hammerjaw giv +10 to primary stats; samael give +25 to primary stats.

so wat this means?
will samael add +25 to every str,int,dex, dodge,crit, etc?
or primary stats r str, int nd dex only?

primary stats = single stat based on ur class
dex if ur rogue, int if ur mage, str if u war
