Level 23 Bear

Need help with skills stats and gear ..

Will be.mostly using fbow/talon

For gear use any level 20-23 pink sniper's avian helmet or whatever they are called, level 15 expert reinforced leather, level 20-23 forgotten bow, the crit ring with 2 crit and 8 armor, and the crazy bear face if u want.

For stats go full dex.

For skill build do 6 rage 6 beckon 6 hell scream 3 stomp 1 super mega slash.

Vs mages: Beckon, hell scream, stomp, super mega slash.
Vs other bears: Beckon, stomp, super mega slash, hell scream. (do beckon stomp sms as fast as u can and one of u should be dead right after sms)
Vs birds: same combo as vs other bears. (u will most likely lose to birds because of their very high dodge but sometimes u will get lucky and win if they don't dodge)

i've been playing on sonoobish for over 2 years now and i have around 31500 kills or something like that and like 11800 deaths so dont give up if u lose lol. i remember when i used to be negative on sonoobish when i first started him. Normally I wouldn't contradict someone with 31500 kills, but I really don't agree with this. Get your scream in as soon as you possibly can; it's the difference between winning and losing. Beckon first at 12m, then scream as soon as they reach 8m range (in lower-level bear vs bear fights, the one who knows their range best will generally win). After scream, follow through with stomp-sms quickly.

Your scream drops their hit by 30%, which is huge and can be further increased if you get in an fbow proc (-15% hit) or two. If you can make them miss their stomp, that means no combo for them, which is pretty much gf at this level.

Same applies for birds; fbow gives them absurd damage, so you NEED to get them missing as soon as possible.

ya if u tried level 22-26 bears they wouldn't survive long enough for the hell scream to even take effect. who ever does beckon stomp sms quicker wins. u only really need hell scream for mages at this lvl. trust me i pvp all the time at this lvl. they die so quick that hell scream isnt even necessary for bear vs bears because of dying so fast.

The fact that this happens is just.. Wrong.

I guarantee that a bear who knows their range very well would be able to tear through that strategy. It is possible to land scream and still be able to get in stomp-sms. And anyway, why throw in an 8m skill AFTER you send them flying with pull-stomp-sms? Just doesn't make any sense.

Also, hell scream is LEAST effective against mages; they can just heal it off if they know to save their heal (and the good ones do).

Talon bear vs talon bear = beckon, hell scream, stomp, sms
Forg bear vs forg bear = beckon, stomp, sms, hell scream

You'll easily get nuked if you try to land a hellscream while fighting a forg bear so you should just directly use the beckon/stomp combo, but it's a good idea to hellscream when going talon vs talon.

I always prefer talon fights, but I guess at 26 bears are more attached to their bows.

Idk, I still think it would be possible to land scream and still combo, but I'll take your word for it not being effective.
