Man Of Steel/New Batman Discussion

Hey all,
If you've not heard yet, the sequel to Man of Steel will have Batman. A new Batman. Ben Affleck.
Ben Affleck doesn't have the looks to be Batman, especially the face. Sites such as Gawker, IGN, Buzzfeed, and others have compared it to when Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker in 2006. But no one had heard of Ledger at the time. We've seen what Affleck has done, and to expect Daredevil to be Batman is nonsense. Affleck will destroy Christopher Bale's legacy. And Bale's shoes need to be filled correctly. Man of Steel is directed by Nolan, just imagine Henry Cavill and Bale together. Someone started a Change.org petition to change the actor. I hope they don't screw up everything and have batman come in and kick the man of steel's butt.

Maybe if they keep it to a semi-decent plot, like they quarrel but in the end they team up and save humanity.

Idk, I just don't see Ben Afleck as batman. When I look at batman I don't see Ben Afleck, and I don't WANT to see Ben Afleck, but if Ben is batman, no one is gonna see batman, just Ben. Plus, I couldn't possibly imagine Ben as this dark vigilante, does playing DareDevil warrant him an automatic vigilante role? Don't think so.

I'm concerned about the movie and its direction, but I'm not saying I won't go see it YET.

I think Nolan will use it as an opportunity to lead-up to Justice League. I'm guessing we'll be seeing some other DC movies soon, similar to what Marvel did before the Avengers. Speaking of Marvel...
