Lagging badly

I'm used to getting ping times of 100-200 but now it's 500-2000 which is making it quite difficult to level up, I can go round a corner and be fighting and suddenly I'm transported back around the corner to a completely different mob.

Are the servers being hammered right now?

I'm on a fibre 80mbit down 20mbit up connection so doubt it's that.

Read this, perform the tests I have done when you're experiencing lag. If your results come similar, then it is your Internet provider and you should contact them to fix your Internet.

Tablet - 21ms ping, 22.06Mbps down, 11.78Mbps up
Laptop - 13ms ping, 38.28Mbps down, 17.23Mbps up

Both are lagging in the game.

Traceroute to account.spacetimestudios.com which appears to be the server farm that hosts the game, the timeouts are expected when the host is configured not to return pings (usually to avoid DoS attacks).

What device are you playing on?

A cause of high ping can also be low framerate on your device, given that the device can only process ping data per frame.

it's not only him. Go in game. All my guildies are reporting outrageous ping in wt4. I run it with constant 1000 ping. The new campaign is a little better but not much. I'm around 600 there. Everyone is on and lagging the servers.

I've used 3g and wifi both
bt my device is lagging and on pc also its lagging
always atleast on wifi the ping used to be green bt now its not even yellow its red all time around 700-1500

I've been using my Nook Tablet since really getting into playing the game at the beginning of this year, it has a 1ghz dual core cpu and the framerate only sags a little during mass mob attacks but that hasn't affected ping times in the past.

The laptop has a 2.2ghz core i5 processor and barely notices the processor usage of the game

I was actually planning to make a thread about this lag issue. As good as everyone I asked that was leveling in WT4, said they were lagging really bad.

I'm experiencing the same issue. My Internet connection has been stable with 100-300ping during the last month and started to lag only after the update. I tried different routers and played on my neighbors' network (from another provider), but WT4 is still lagging way more than it used to.

my ping vary from 1000-100k and i m used to it.
playing on 2g gprs of 40kbps lol.
my name should be on lb for having all level 31 classes and most laggy player in the game lol

I have almost flawless connection. I lag in wt4 at 600-700 ping in huge mobs.

High speed fibre here, 10-50ping normal.... Today in wt4:1000

Yea, it's really a pain to lvl up in WT4 with this lag :/
Ping is 800-1500, sometimes I get a spike of 15k, but then I'm dead anyways xD

I hope the problem is resolved soon, it's taking the fun out of the game when you press a special move and you sit there waiting for it to happen before you can do another move
