Rogue Build

Hello fellow rogues,

My current build is:

5/5 Nox Bolt
5/5 Aimed Shot
4/5 Razor Shield (No clear effects)
4/5 Shadow Piercer (No damage armor).

Firstly, I am wondering if noxious bolt is actually AoE, because I have invested into aoe points but it doesnt seem to be aoe. Also, I am wondering what the more experienced rogues use as their builds, maybe if some 31+ rogue share their builds? I'm currently level 30.

S/V upgrade 2,4,5

I gave up R/S coz my build is dex and damage oriented, I shoot bow and keep distance.
I respec few days ago, so far so good. Im lvl36.

To answer your question:
Only the poison damage from NOX bolt affects the 6 targets associated with the upgraded AOE. Additionally, the AOE only functions if you fire a charged NOX bolt.

Otherwise, my build is as follows and it’s all over the forums… I am always evolving it and experimenting with new skills. Lately this is my build:

Full Dex
5/5 AS
4/5 SV (no explode)
4/5 RS (no bleed) – having the added benefit of Spinning Freedom has proven useful in Shuyal, so I went with it
4/5 Traps (no explode)
SP 1/5
Nox 5/5 (although I plan to remove the AOE upgrade soon)

Passives:
Agility (Dex) 5/5
Knowledge 5/5
DMG 2/5

Still playing with all of this – also note:

In the harder maps I run with really good Crowd Control mages, 2 of them who understand CC so well that we rarely ever get touched. Myself, one other rogue, and those two mages can run the hardest maps in the game at very near LB times.

My build is:
3/5 SP-Doesnt really matter just make it have three targets

Nox Bolt: 5/5-Mobs, especially those spiders in Shuyal Arena

Shadow Veil: 4/5 No explosion-doesn't really hit enemies unless they are in it.

Razor Sheild: 3/5 OR 4/5-Could be no spinning freedom or or no bleeding cuts. Or one of them. Bleeding cuts for extra damage, but it makes you a bit more vulnerable to attacks, spinning freedom good for say Cpt blue crab traps, use the spinning freedom to run away fast. Mine is the one with neither.

Aimed Shot: 5/5-It's pretty much a must for every rogue.

Passives

DEX: 5/5-Another must for every rogue

DMG: 5/5-To make my attacks stronger and having to use less mana.

Critical: 1/5-makes my 14% seem better...^_^

MY NOTES:
I wouldn't say my build is the best, but the results are usually having 1-10 deaths and getting 1000 kills in PvE. I don't die too often on the bosses in Shuyal, except Cpt Krom, and inan. Only trouble therr is when tanks die or didn't press on the pots quick enough.

I have no mythics except a lep pendant. Standard armor is good enough. Mythics are a reward for long time players, or professional ones, and plat buyers. So I dont really care, and I remember a time seeing a full mythic rogue at lvl 35, and guess what, my stats were much better. They weren't wearing a lep either. So who knows? Maybe mythics are just like regular armor except for those who knew how to make it work.

Pets dont really matter. They have certain purposes the way I use them. And I don't know about you, but I use Esteban if all my pets are tired.

I use 3/5 Medic packs.
30% more and additional packs
I dont know but I think it's flexible, you could put that in something else, but can't be in PvP that much.
