Liquidations, liquidations.

Checked forums today, right around when the update on FBs was posted. So I decided to check it out and log in. STS found a middle ground between the two sides of the issue surrounding Forgotten items. I was surprised (in a good way) at the idea! I certainly would have never thought of it. Now not only are Forgotten bows being nerfed, but there's a real incentive to liquidate them, too! (Not to mention the sheer satisfaction of the act. ) Really excellent. Just need those Halloweens toned down, and everything will be nice and dandy for twink items.

Anyway. I made 1m so far. Found some forgottens I couldn't sell before (forgotten blades, staves, weird leveled bow), which liquidated for 150k-300k each. How much has everyone else made/lost?

Everyone liquidates, few dont. they become supa dupa rare, and being worth a lot more? Hmm.. Maybe.

Yeah, for collectors they'll become worth more. General public won't bother with them though. Meh, hardly matters. In the past 20 minutes the average prices has dropped 100k on all forgotten bows (except for the high level ones, which people seem to think should be worth 600k all of the sudden).

I'm pretty sure he is reffering to chunkers, reapers, and paws from the 2012 halloween event, which are quite overpowered but did not receive much of a nerf.

Yes, chunkers are still at the same stats as before (and same liquidation prices). Same goes for paws, not sure about reapers.

The liquidation price is higher for upper-level bows; 71 purps were worth around 300k, compared to 120k for 15s.

i only pve...i dont merch anymore either but gold is def not an issue so for me there was no reason to liquidate or buy all in cs

same here. I may liquidate a few purples but a million more gold wont do anything to my overall balance since there is nothing new to spend money on anyway. Hopefully the liquidations will raise the prices of the left over items over time.

what would be super clever is if STS brings back a forgotten event with armour and helms, each of which requires the weapon for a set bonus. The forgotten weapons all being liquidated today skyrocket in price in the future! LOL

Purple forgotten blades and staffs turned into 3.6m. Kept a few choice pink bows.
