Anyone have a PvP Video from sewer cap?

Hey guys!

I've seen a lot of people complaining about how one class is OP while another class is underpowered...

I don't understand, guys. We've been giving feedback for a mere day, and we're all panicking!

Take a bird for example. Now that birds can't rely on pure dodge and 1-shot killing, those who made a bird (I'm referring to endgame) in the past 5-6 months will have no idea on how to actually use a bird strategically. This is how balance is supposed to be!

I was curious if anyone could find a PvP video back from the sewer cap? (Or a time when PvP was more-so balanced). It would set a good example to those on forums who aren't as familiar with the concept of balance in PL PvP.

I'm only suggesting this because everytime I see someone complaint, I feel bad for STS (strangely) because we're only putting more stress and work on their back. The more negative feedback we give them, the less they'll be interested in helping us. I don't want to turn into the AL community where we all act greedy for newer and newer things. (I think this is simply due to not being used to the forums + a lack of "education" from past PL times).

I dont think you will find a video from sewer cap but... there are a bunch of videos in youtube.I found one just before nuri cap update and it includes some bird fights

I've asked many old pvpers and they say it's much quite balanced - and that it's pleasing!

Nevertheless, the community will not be satisfied as a whole (takes time).

Earlier I was trying out 55 gear with a couple friends and even with elite ring it was quite fun and balanced.... Would like to see a video too

Could not find one on birds but did find this one with some decent 50ish pvp. Would've been nicer if the recorder left in more loss scenes as this would give a better understanding of what it takes to win/lose.

... Actually, that video contains all of the PvP I did on that character in the span of recording those clips. Sorry. :x

Endgame may be balanced, but not everyone does endgame. :/ I might just be griping, but L20-L40 I feel as if a burd has no chance at all anymore. At L40, I'm fighting L30 mages and losing. L35 Copper behrs are p0wning me again, and right before the update I was destroying. I haven't even really tried 61-71, but hopefully something gets done with twinking.. :/

I haven't noticed much of a nerf. The strength set at endgame is still op imo. Birds still dodge like crazy, and the wand set is just harder to take down. I've been doing pvp at 55 and I must say its definitely not balanced. Hybrids dominate, and mages are almost impossible to take down as a bird. Maybe a nerf to mages armor would make a difference. I think they should raise gear requirements as well. In sewers a level 55 item required more stat points than a level 75 item does today. A pally can use savage but still have a huge mana pool. Bears and warbirds gain tons of hit % from all the dex stat points they can use..

Nerfing mages' armor would only force them to use STR sets. How about dropping the armor and dodge on the STR sets instead, and increasing the armor on bears? Seems like it would solve the problem of everyone using Savage, while leaving bears with their ability to tank.

You seem to forget that at 56 cap, you could boost your stats to equip items. The requirements were dropped to reflect the new way of how items are equipped.

sorry bro its no where near balance not cause devs nerfed birds dodge, I liked it and actually indeed its a good decision towards balancing PvP.
the reason that its not balanced cause its going through testing phase more like beta phase type thing.


its funny that even few day back we talked about the most non balancing factor of PvP I,e one hit killing WHICH HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED YET, damage is still op, until this aggressive damaged get nerfed or increase HP/armor I would say PvP is going through worse situation ATM, not unhappy though rather quite happy its going through several changes. and we need change.

if you trying to compare current endgame situation with sewer I would say these things belongs to opposite side of the earth, no match.
