My opinion on latest update
We are a bunch of adults whom play this game for fun with activities such as hunt bael or krunch.
Since the update bael and krunch locations are unknown and due to this I have a lack of motivation even to start the game.
Ohh btw we have spent money on this game for the plats as well.
Please make this game accessible and playable for casual gamers like us.
Before anyone suggesting running elite map ... With the gear which we have and lack of coordination it is almost impossible to pull it off.

I am a casual player and adult whom has life outside al and does not want to work hard to enjoy this game.
All I ask is just to slay some monsters and get some nice gears without joining any fanatic guilds....
From time to time buy plats to acquire cute little pets and etc ....
As a mass market / casual gamer this is all I asked for.

If youre too casual to find bael and krunch yourself why dont you just wait for the "new bael and krunch locations" thread?
I think its good to spice things up a bit with the locations of these bosses, repeated runs in the same maps would drive me crazy personally, like lvling after im already capped.

I am also an adult with life outside the game.
You can still have lots of fun even with non myth (but top legendary helps) gear... Bael and Krunch was in fact boring and by the way, they are pretty tough now.
There is plenty of well designed bosses that casual players can have fun to fight against (provided you have a team):
Overgrow (take 3 dps, you'll need it)
Ferrix (take some long range firing power)
Frostir (take a good tank, the mobs hit hard)
Try to defeat Inan if you have plat for revivals (7 minutes pass quickly)
Make a low level twink in less frequented bracket and have fun in pvp
Get as many elite APs as you can for your guildies...
I think the game offers lots of fun, one has to find what he gets the kick out of most...

Yes, I deleted my post. I honestly don't think anything I say will be constructive here, so it's better left unsaid. I can assure you 'working hard' isn't as "hard" as you're making it out to be. If you want to improve the casual aspect of this game, post some detailed suggestions in the "suggestions and feedback" section. To say this update ruined the game is way off course. I'm not sure how long you've been playing AL, but I can assure you it's been quite successful with and without Bael/Krunch farming. Just a question for the OP:
Bael 2 & Krunch 2 were only added in the game very recently. What did you do to enjoy the game before that? I suggest whatever it was, you go back to doing that again.
There are lots of places you can farm and make money without doing elite dungeons. You can farm flap jack eggs in Rooks Nest (they go for 20k each). You can farm for crates and nexus eggs in Kraken Mines 3 (crates sell for 12k and nexus eggs 200K+). Non-elite golden puzzle boxes are going for 25-30k each, so you can farm any of the non-elite shuyal dungeons for those. And you can also farm Elite Rooks Nest which is only scaled to level 25, so if you are level 35/36 and don't have the best gear, it will be good enough for that elite dungeon. Malison eggs drop there, and they go for 100k+.
There are also a ton of daily quests to make money as well.

Back then was focussing on levelling up to 36 by doing quests and xp farming.
Well, I think that at level 36 the end-game fun only begins. End gamers (I am not speaking only about elitists) level up fast to enjoy extra profit that can be done by farming new elite levels early.
Unfortunately, this was destroyed by easy Bael drops this season. But I don't want to rant about it I as there were enough posts on this and now the mechanics has changed, anyway.
As for motivation - depends... as for me, I am trying to save gold for arcane animal currently (no luck with crates) and then long term aim will come - saving money for next season arcane weapon
Here is a suggestion... Now that you are done leveling up, now how about trying to do all the achievements. Make that your next goal. See how many achievement points you can get.

I don't see need of complain the update. It wasn't a nerf, it was a kill of 'economy gangbangers' and it was needed for sure.

Hmmm I liked that they changed the locations, makes it harder for us.
Can't have it all handed to us on a silver platter! I enjoy new challenges, no matter how hard it is, a game with that has no challenges gets boring. There more to AL than just bael/krunch 2
I don't even bother to find them, still have yet to find krunch 2 but eh it will happen eventually.
Everyone has a life outside of AL too, so for the people who are saying that has if their the only ones who magically have a life outside of AL... please get a grip.
You can do so much more which Energizeric pointed out. If you want an easy game, then play something like 4 in a row or playing with a yo yo.
