Been playing since February and have spent about $250 so far, but still have about 2200 plat left. I spent extra when they had the plat sale last month, so this should last me quite a while.
Freemium games and subscription games are on both mobile and on PC neither is exclusive to one device.
I was just pointing out why I can see companies are turning to cash shops judging by the amount people spend in them compared to subscription games where everything is available for a set price per month.
The difference is that PL is the most unique of its type.
Sure, I could play O&C and tbh, I have. It sucked, big time. Dev support was non existent & basically was a copy of WoW. I'll pay money for creative content & game styles, not some mimic Gameloft can make money off of.
I realize that there are a few others out there, but as of right now, STS dominates the mobile MMO front.
Anyways, how is the freemium model a bad thing? It satisfies both the players who don't want to pay for game play content as well as those who are willing to pay for their games in order to get that extra edge.

Where have I said its a bad thing?
Seems like it was implied.
Bolded the section where it was implied. By telling me how I could have spent my money & saying it would be better worth for me to play a subscription based game shows that you thought it was a bad thing, or at least that's what it looked like.

read both sentences not just the second one, I said I can see why companies go cash shops when people are spending $4000 on it, it would take 20+ years to get the same amount of money from one person in a subscription game.
ok $4000 might be an exception but unless you have the amount of players WoW has then it looks certain companies make alot more money from cash games with a few customers spending lots of money to cover the players that don't spend anything, compared to subscription games where if players arn't paying they arn't playing either.
Companies making money from a game isn't a bad thing as it means they continue to suppot the game, if subscriptions don't make money then it makes sense to go cash shops.

Well...this was back in 2010 when I played PL,I had a 56 capped mage.Lol after not playing for a year or so I forgot info xD.I believe on my way to capping during 56 I spent 50 bucks total.
Lol stomp
It's your money mate spend it how you want, I don't judge people on how they spend their money, for all I know your a millionaire and $4000 to you is like $40 to me. I was merely commentating on how cash shop games can make money for companies compared to subscription games.
