Looking at the screenshots, looks like there is no pattern where they would show up.
Most of the shots with skratch show him at the boss area, we found him almost halfway to harley.

I actually meant for those persistently asking where in the map or which mob or do they need to kill boss questions.

You are right though, they show up where ever the similar mob is.
