Post IGN names of people who have scammed you so other people looking to trade can avoid them! Also post what item they scammed from you so we might be able to help eachother out replace those items!
(Napowow) He scammed my lvl 29 (Pink) Bone Conqueror Armor saying he would trade me for a Snipers Crossbow
never looked at the guys name. my fault. He scammed my jeweled Xbow /cry. one less pink ill have. was hoping to trade it for my 30 gear, but i guess that wont happen now, said he would trade me a "good sword". I EVEN SAID SWIPER NO SWIPING!
on that note: swiper no swiping does not work on this game. : / dora has it to easy..

Hey gang,
Just a reminder to please keep the conversation friendly. I totally agree that someone being dishonest and skipping out on a pre-arranged trade is lame, I wouldn't want to see this thread turn into a witch hunt or an excuse to harass players. We know that the current gift system isn't secure (see the post here) for trading. Expect a secure way to trade in the future.

Add Amoorez, this guy is scamming people for money, he even bragged about it lol (I gave him 800 worht of items) and hes like **** Off, noob i made 40000 this weekend already)
I've got a load if stuff I will give to friends but I haven't once used this GIFTING system. People have given me stuff. Keep ya epics until secure trade comes or even an auction house. The Internet is filled with scammers don't trade just give. Don't expect to receive anything in retun, that's why it's gifting 1 way trade. V1.2 will be out soon guys. It's just really annoying on every second thread on here is someone being ripped off, hold off until the next version because we will probably be able to sell for gold which will be cool.
The good thing about this system is that when your on a quest and recieve an item which you can't use you can give it to someone that can.

This "Amoorez" Guy is a scammer, he says items that are not legit.
If you see him trading, tell everyone in a simple message he is a scammer, and he will leave.
He has another acc, "Pknight" Same deal.

I'm all for protecting ppl from being scammed but half the players or more don't read the forums. IMO, these types of threads should be on private guild forums not on the official PL forums. If there are complaints, why not email/pm them to the devs privately?

Yes, but SOME people come to forums like people posting on the threads because more legit people would come here, and instead of getting scammed we'd rather know who we are trading, too bad to people who don't come to the forums. I hope they will one day check it out and see the advantages.
I believe this trade should be used for "hey, I got this in a dungeon do you want it?" not "hey trade me your bow for mine." Wait for secure trades. After the new maps come out, the current high level items won't be as good. No point in rushing a possible scam.

I read these forums every day but a player should not have to read the forums for this game. Every warning should be in the game itself. Most people want to play not read forums. Yes, those really addicted to PL want to play & read the forums to soak up as much PL info as possible. But if you're just playing, I agree there should be a warning in game until 1.2 comes out. You shouldn't say "too bad to people who don't come to the forums". Some of these ppl contribute financially to PL and you don't want to exclude ppl because they don't log onto the forums. Not every is a forum reader.

Got scammed today by Deathwar, also has a character named Kyrawarr. Said they had the Conquerer's frozen shield, traded a Dreamer's Bone Staff for it, and yea, no shield lol. Oy Vey! They even added me as a friend, but later removed me. My own fault really, just such a bummer to have lost such a great item

Retract complaint, found them today and was able to retrieve bone staff. Chalking it up to a misunderstanding.
