So u want to get locked so u farm jarl in brackenridge without finish the mob(after jarl before bridge)
Dont u think u will make it hard for people that randomly enter the same map because of u and they need to finish the map for u and miss to kill jarl.It happens to me everyday when i was farming jarl and i need to clear the leftover mob and cant farm jarl.After clear the mob i re-enter brackenridge and tadaa,no jarl and i need to clear the leftover mob.Please to all locked farmer please finish the mob or sts can make an option where if u not clearing the mob,u the one that will re-enter the same map and not other.I hope u all will understand this

Thanks but i already knew about it.but we need to finish the whole map and the boss after jarl(forgot his name) only drop deary and it takes to long

One of the reasons I don't farm locked crates in brackenridge with my capped toon. Instead I created a lvl 21 sorcerer for farming crates. As with the partyinvite 00 I don't recommend doin it, mainly because it gives u lesser chance for reroll unlike when you're in with 3 other players.

Like afrobug said.but its easy when using my capped toon then my lvl 21 twink for farming jarl.

The way i do it is to make a low level toon around lvl 10 with some decent gear and just rejoin jarl every time you kill him, no need to solo party.

PROS :
- easy to make such low level toon
- nearly 100% of the time, the map is reseted after you kill boss and rejoin again
- others will take a while to kill run the map so you can have some time to reach boss before he dies.

CONS:
- much slower to kill boss at low levels

yeah, Low lvl toons are best for farming. once you pass lvl 15, your chances of reaching Jarl before other farmers bop him are very low. I'll try and kill the mobs on the way if i'm solo, but if I see someone running past me, I'm not gonna help them by making Jarl pop up faster. It would be nice if they made it so you have to kill the 3 mob groups prior to Jarl in order for him to spawn. this would give ppl time to catch up and you wouldnt find stray enemies on your way.

I do try and have common courtesy and wait if someone is nearby, but if i see that they aren't making a beeline for the boss, they're SOL

I will take advice by using my twink char but I made this thread as a guide to jarl farmer so all can farm easily without entering the leftover mob map

That you could solo maps, be much better, Also I agree with the thread start, it only take like 2 secs to do this, it's nice to be nice

I am always farm elite with my guidmate and my fav place is elite rook nest and elite forest breach,but i always farm locked because imagine,1 run of elite forest breach require around 20 minutes and if no pink or elite golden drop its only wasting your time but if u farm jarl u can get 8-10 locked with 1 hour elixir and if there is any event,locked can be sell with bigger price like 30k.That is why i farm locked

I have five twinks to farm jarl. I'm not wasting my time clearing mobs if you are going to be so kind to do for me my record (with just leprechaun and 25% reroll from klass) is 19crates in a half hour I regret nothing!

Jarl won't reset. When you use the soloing code you must reach the end of a map for it to reset (have fun wasting 30secs killing thunk).

I've received many locked crates from the three mages that spawn behind Jarl!

In my experience, there is no perfect way to avoid the Jarl race (PUGs beating you to the spawn) or the empty map dilemma. If you'd like, you can try my method of farming crates:

In town, use /partyi 0 to group with yourself. Then run: Jarl, Rook's Hideout, Jarl, Ydra Forest, Jarl, Rook's Hideout... etc. Alternating maps ensures that they reset after you're done. These maps are good because you also have a chance at Ribbit and Blight eggs. Also, Klutus/Becquila both have the chance to drop a crate. If you want you can even throw Rook's Nest in the mix - Flap Jack always sells pretty well. Anyway, that's how I farm my crates when I'm solo. No point wasting killing Thunk One-Eye on the Brackenridge map, because he rarely drops crates and Deary doesn't sell very well.

I don't see this as the players causing problems, but that's me. When I was rushing and farming Jarl I had the same problem, half done maps, late joins, ect. I just dealt with it. Paying for elixirs means wasting no time, I don't get ticked at others, it's the way the game is set up. I know it's been said before but pl's join/host function eliminated that, don't know why it can't exist here.
