I don't know what you mean by token quests. Please specify so I can help

If I recall correctly, they do count to your quest count, so if you haven't done them yet, you need to in order to compete all quests.
Those who say it cannot be done should not stop those who are doing it.
They both count toward your overall quest counter so I'll say "yes" to this.
