My guess is you either don't play both sorcerer and rogue at higher levels or you're using bad gear. Cause if that wasn't the case, you probably didn't make this post.

My rogue at lvl 35 with only myth bow and helm can solo about any boss easier than my full mythic Mage with arcane pet. Just sayin
My main is a level 36 full offense Mage but I recently started a rogue. The Mage is much better for mobs but in a 1vs1 fight the rogue dominates. When aimed shot criticals its lights out for whatever gets hit.
Rogues have less dmg and dps.
Mages have less aimed shot.
=balance.

Not only rogues are high damage. They get away so fast that it's so impossible to kill them fast , they're far from you and aim shot the freak out of you- only way , as a warrior to win, is maul proc 2/3x a row and stun lock them. rogues are op with damage -
