Two rumors that need to end?

I'm getting so annoyed by people:

A) Joining and saying "DON'T KILL THE WITCH!" I always reply "YOU'RE GONNA DIE, WITCH!" People still think that they get better drops, I've tested it and had super varied results, people who don't kill it and get a drop are just lucky, its NOT TRUE THAT THE ALIVE WITCH GETS YOU BETTER DROPS.

B) Saying "Omg plz sell me your paw, weapons are coming to drop next week!" I'm pretty sure this is a fail scam for cheap 2012 op weapons, but do people actually believe it? Yes! It's sad, and annoying. Unless you see a dev/announcement from a dev/mod on forums saying the weapons are coming back, then there will be no weapon drops.

I remember that first one from last year. It's annoying for sure when they rage like they know exactly how the code is written.
I pretend I'm some random nationality and spam foreign languages while gleefully killing her.

Another rumor would be, the less people in a game, the better drops you get... I still can't believe that so many people follow the boot-pattern.

Its very annoying when people say that leaving the witch alive yields better drops. That's only a small part of it.

The correct way of farming:
1) Kill enough pumpkins until only 17 are left
2) Run to the witch and deal enough damage until she has around 1/2 hp
3) Kill a melee pumpkin and quickly do a Gurgox
4) Respec your stats and place exactly 19 points in int, the rest goes in dex but leave 2 points unused
5) Run around until you have exactly 4 pumpkins following you, kill 3 of them after 27 seconds
6) Do the dance emote for 97 seconds
7) Run to boss and kill him, be sure to pick up the damage orb after 34 seconds
8) You should get a pink now

I did this and it worked, based on a 1 run.

It does work, but I can't spend two plat to respec every time just for a 15k pink

So we stopped killing the witch, those first 2 runs we didn't kill the witch we got pinks lol. Then we killed the witch BC some bes 76 bird joined (l20-30 game gg) and we dropped pinks lol, myth busted gg.

These rumors are soooooo annoying xD; only thing that'll change drop rate is luck elixirs/big luck, but those are hardly any help lol.

False, its all luck, I kill the witch every round, and last night I got 10 pinks. I received about 3 pinks, in 3 consecutive runs. Only farmed for 30 min or so.
