Default Giving Back To The Community - The Stankman

Hello again Crem here with yet another guide to AL. This time i'm doing something different, a way of playing, a good skill to learn in PvE and PvP.

The Stankman originates from a game I used to play, BoxHead Bounty Hunter, where a iconic player used to hide behind walls and come out for 2 seconds, shoot then return to the wall. This rippled through the game and was the technique on becoming a professional player. I tried this is AL and it sort of works.

Here is a video of Stankmans move, i understand you may not of ever seen this game before but watch it a few times.

At 2:04 - 2:06 the orange player comes out of the box, shoots the gun and goes back to the spot. This will hit the target and protect you from the opponent.

Here in AL i stand BEHIND the rock, go out, shoot a firebolt then run back behind the rock. It is good so no long range attacks hit you.

It is also useful in PvP for long range attack v long range attack/short range attack.

Use the walls to your advantages.

You would get flamed in PL for doing this, but it's a legit strategy.

It is a good technique, especially for the relatively squishy Sorcerers if there are no tanks around to manage aggro.

Treehugging, as Roberto said, would have gotten you flamed and booted quickly in PL PvP, but again, it is a useful technique, especially when you are facing a maxed out Rogue in TDM. It is one of those techniques that allow you to avoid Aimed shot and after the initial barrage misses you, you come out, stun with fireball, drop a clock and pew-pew them to death. Some call it cheap, I call it good tactics to minimize your class's major weakness.

Yeh what i was thinking, rogue v rogue aim shot. In last season I used to pvp rogue and beat mythic rogue everytime by sticking to those walls.
