Can The Upgrade Process of Mythic Set Be Reversed?

Earlier this season I lent a mythic set to a friend of mine, he didn't know once the mythic set is done upgrading it would become not tradeable and took the privilege to upgrade the set himself. He now regrets what he has done and is not able to pay me for what the set is worth.

I am wondering if by any chance the support team can help me to replace the set and make it the way before it was upgraded?
