I believe so, I don't see why not. That's a big level jump though, ao2 is quite a bit harder than ao1

That you won't be able to use, while your leeching xp, in maps you not ready for.

Pink items that nobody wants any more.

Play in the level that gives you things you can use. You will like it more.

If you intend to farm pinks and become a merchant, get up to max level first. The items everyone wants are hard to get even for max level players who have been here for months.

Better to figure out what is fun, rather than try to become rich with pretend gold.

I'm level 39 btw and on the campaign it says 40-45, I don't think the one extra level is going to make that much difference.

Please can we stick the the question... Can I purchase AO2 and get into it without buying AO1?

Yes, you should be able to do that.

Yes you can. I did just that. Was running in last of the 4-pack campaign and got invited to Ao2. I did not have it yet, bought it and went. Viola! Did the whole Ao2 campaign right then and opened all levels. That was great fun.

If you don't own AO1 or AO2 then how did you get to level 39?

The Ancient Swamps will only let you get to level 38. Were you able to level to 39 during that 24 hour period that the Halloween quests gave you XP?
