    $|What is Crafting?
The Crafting System will allow you to create different, powerful Gems that you can then socket into your gear to improve their statistics. Initial Gem recipes include:

    Attachment 44911

In order to create a Gem, you will need to either gather 10 Essences or purchase them from the Store.

    $|What Are Essences?
Essences are magical in nature and bind their energy to the person who holds them. As such, Essences are NOT TRADEABLE.

    $|Where Can I Find/Buy Essences?
Essences drop from most opponents, chests and breakables (like barrels and boxes). They are Epic rarity items and somewhat rare to come across.

    $|How can I Create A Gem?
Once you condense 10 Essences You Can form a Gem

    $|What Can I do with a Gem?
You can Use The gem for upgrading Your items or you can trade the Gem or sell the Gem on the Consignment Shoppe to other players.

$|Process Of condensing Essences to gem takes time?

Yes,The process of condensing 10 Essences into a Gem takes time. It takes 8 hours to create 1 Gem. You can have up to 5 total crafts or upgrades in progress at any one time on any one character.

    $|Essences Are Tradable ?

Essences Are Not Tradeable Only Gems Are Tradeable

    Upgrading

    $|What Is Upgrading?

The Upgrade System will allow you to socket one or more (depending on the quality of the item) powerful Gems into your gear.

$|How many Gems I can add into the item?

The number of Gems any particular item will hold depends on the quality of the item:
    Epic items: 1 upgrade slot
    Legendary items: 2 upgrade slots
Mythic or Arcane items: 3 upgrade slots

    $|Socketing Gem Also Takes time?

Socketing a Gem is not a trivial task and takes time. While an item is having a Gem socketed, it is not available for use. Plan your upgrading carefully!

Putting a Gem into the first socket takes 8 hours. A second and third socket take even more time.

$|How Much bonus status that a gem grants?

The amount of bonus that a Gem grants depends on the level of an item. In a level 36 item a normally bonded Gem grants a +3 stat bonus, while a superior bonded Gem grants a +6 stat bonus.

[B]$|What is the chance of getting a Bonded gem?
It purely depends on your Luck! Its Very Rare!

When a Gem finishes imbuing into a socket, it has a chance to form a superior bond with the item for an additional bonus!

    $|Can I replace a Gem?

Once you have a Gem socketed into an item, you can replace that gem with a new one and have a chance for that replacement to yield a superior bonded Gem!

    $|Replacing Also Takes Time?

Replacing an existing socketed Gem takes 12 hours, regardless if it is in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Gem slot.

$|If I replace a Gem,the older can will be left for use?

No,the older Gem will be destroyed and the new Gem will be replaced

$|Upgraded Item Can be sold or traded?

Yes,You can buy an item without a gem and then you can upgrade it and sell it for a higher price!

$| Do the gems in mythic armor/helm lose it's gems when it is upgraded from level 26 to level 36?

Yes, upgrading the old mythic armour/helm gives you a whole new mythic helm/armour so you will have to socket other gems for it

    Announcement Posted By Samhayne:-

New Crafting and Upgrade System Coming in November to Arcane Legends

Please keep in mind that the Crafting and Upgrade systems are currently work-in-progress. As such, things are subject to change from what is outlined below.

Arcane Legends will be turning 1 year old in November. What better way to celebrate than with two awesome new game systems: Crafting and Upgrading!

    Attachment 44921

    Crafting:

The Crafting System will allow you to create different, powerful Gems that you can then socket into your gear to improve their statistics. Initial Gem recipes include:

    Attachment 44911

In order to create a Gem, you will need to either gather 10 Essences or purchase them from the Store. Essences drop from most opponents, chests and breakables (like barrels and boxes). They are Epic rarity items and somewhat rare to come across.

    Attachment 44914

Essences are magical in nature and bind their energy to the person who holds them. As such, Essences are not tradeable. Once you condense 10 Essences to form a Gem, you can trade the Gem or sell the Gem on the Consignment Shoppe to other players.

The process of condensing 10 Essences into a Gem takes time. It takes 8 hours to create 1 Gem. You can have up to 5 total crafts or upgrades in progress at any one time on any one character.

This is the first use of this new Crafting System. There is a lot of room for future expansion. The Arcane Legends Development Team is excited to use this new system to create compelling new content over the coming months for you.

    Attachment 44922

    Upgrading:

The Upgrade System will allow you to socket one or more (depending on the quality of the item) powerful Gems into your gear.

The number of Gems any particular item will hold depends on the quality of the item:

    Epic items: 1 upgrade slot
    Legendary items: 2 upgrade slots
Mythic or Arcane items: 3 upgrade slots

Socketing a Gem is not a trivial task and takes time. While an item is having a Gem socketed, it is not available for use. Plan your upgrading carefully!

Putting a Gem into the first socket takes 8 hours. A second and third socket take even more time.

The amount of bonus that a Gem grants depends on the level of an item. In a level 36 item a normally bonded Gem grants a +3 stat bonus, while a superior bonded Gem grants a +6 stat bonus.

When a Gem finishes imbuing into a socket, it has a chance to form a superior bond with the item for an additional bonus! Once you have a Gem socketed into an item, you can replace that gem with a new one and have a chance for that replacement to yield a superior bonded Gem! Replacing an existing socketed Gem takes 12 hours, regardless if it is in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Gem slot.

Here is an example walk-through of the Upgrade process. I'm going to slot a Blood Gem to add some extra STR to my lvl 31 Entomed Hammer of Warfare.

    Step 1: Select Item
    Attachment 45080

    Step 2: Select Slot
    Attachment 45079

    Step 3: Select Gem
    Attachment 45078

    Step 4: Review Upgrade Info
    Attachment 45077

    Step 5: Confirm
    Attachment 45076

    Step 6: Upgrade in Progress
    Attachment 45075

The Entombed Hammer of Warfare is being upgraded and is not available for use. I can buy through the timer if I really want to finish it up right now. Any one character may only have a total of 5 Crafts or Upgrades in progress at any one time.

Notice how the Super Gem stat bonus for the Level 31 Entombed Hammer of Warfare is +5, where a level 36 item can be +6. This scales up from level 10 items that are a base +1 with a Super Gem possible bonus of +2.

The Crafting Station, where you can start new Gem crafts, start new Upgrades, review your current progress and pick up finished items is easily accessible from the main menu.

    Attachment 45097

As with Crafting, this is the first use of this new System. There is a lot of room for future expansion with Upgrades.

We look forward to your thoughts and feedback regarding these new systems. After reading through this announcement, please make use of the below feedback threads to voice your opinion:

    You can also add this:

Do the gems from mythic armor/helm carry on and scale after you upgrade it to level 36?
No, upgrading it gives you a whole new item so you will have to socket other gems for it.
