nope i dont think so.

No, DEX does not improve attack speed.
DPS is a function of the attack speed on your weapon (which is not directly visible and set by STS) and DMG. Some Warrior weapons, such as hammers, have very high DMG, but are very slow (1 second attack times or more); therefore the DPS is awful, but the skill damage is terrific.
If you are looking for DPS weapons, you should be looking for swords, such as Pit Sword, Storm Sword, etc., they offer much higher DPS (because of faster attack speed) but sacrifice a lot of DMG.
Personally, I use a Storm Sword, mostly for the proc, but I also swap out for a hammer on occasion if I want the added DMG. Then again, I am not a tank and more of an attack warrior, so my DMG and DPS are generally higher than most Bow Rogues, and I don't have many tanking skills set up (Smash, Windmill, VB HoR).

Back in the day where Agil/ Dex have no effect on warriors..
But now it does. U max out passive Agil / str to get max
DPS / damage. Ofcourse it helps. Not by a big factor but Dex now have some
Effect on warriors DPS ...aka normal attack speed or weapon speed .. Hence was helm of grace.. Plate of grace etc - gives more
DMg / dps now .
Hammer have slower dps.. Slow movement of weapon. Take out the Agil passive aka Dex.. It becomes slower n ur damage also get weaker. Add 5/5 Agil dps change.. Movement of weapon is higher.. But not a huge diff.
Don't listen to this guy. Dex have effect on dps aka movement or speed but not a big diff

Attack speeds vary with each weapon type. The two-handed sword (ie. Architect Blade) has the fastest attack speed. Next comes the the Sword and Shield (ie. Mythic Sword and Shield), followed lastly by Hammer type weapons (Arcane Maul, Entombed Hammers).
DPS is the damage you make when you do normal attacks. DPS also varies with each weapon type, Two handed swords have the highest DPS, followed by Hammer type weapons, and lastly, by Sword and Shield type weapons.
Damage = Skills damage. So when you have high DMG stat, you can expect to deal HIGH damage from your skills. Hammer type weapons have the highest damage, followed by the Two handed swords, and lastly the Sword and Shield type weapons as these boost your ARMOR stat.
i understand y u ask this because dex passive is AGILITY, so understandable. i have a lvl 25 war and i do not use agil passives. this is because i use wisdom and with wisdom it is less dmg than agil, but wisdom give me more hp than all my fellow lvl 25/26 wars and 300 more mana than them. and im only sacrificing 2 dmg. someone tell me y we dont use wisdom. pls explain

but im end gamer so im maxed that and i use int, etc etc.. more options.. its kinda vary for lower levels ofcourse
