getting out of frost with stomp?

I was wondering how much stomp is needed to get out of a certain level of frost. For example, for lvl 1 frost what lvl stomp is needed to get out of it. I've noticed that at level 3 stomp I wasn't able to get out of 1 frost I believe. Thanks to all who reply to help.

The level of frost is irrelevant since its the stun you need to get out of. The level you need your stomp to be at does matter since stomp doesnt gain the ability to release you from that till 4 which is the same for the bird.
