That last update in the log means that;
Less Essences
No PvP essence drops

Just what we needed..

The Bard's quest enemies did drop essences. good rate actually (better than brackenridge)

No longer after update, I beleive, since they never drop anything before.

Lol you were selling your glacial for 26k so I bought it and made an easy 2k profit. I just sit in the gem tab and I keep refreshing every couple seconds and buy the gems that are sold cheap (like yours) and sell them for profit. It's so easy. Just made 30k in about 10 minutes

but they are sooo much harder than farming bracken bridge, more effort= less result ??

They always dropped gold, so that might count as an "item."

Uhh my gems have disappeared from auction... I had them in auction and now they are gone... I haven't sold them

Personally, I think that once you pass level 25, Brackenridge normal should stop dropping anything. Sts keeps making new content, for us, yet a large percentage of elite level players still do nothing but run Jarl and Goldmine. To each their own, I guess, but rumour also has it that loot is better in the higher level maps - including essence drops. Perhaps that's something to consider trying before complaining about drop rates. Just a thought.

I had same thought and tried everywhere but I have noticed that the essences don't drop easily anywhere..

The biggest oversights were infinite spawn fights like Maneater, and the spiders in the Arena for example. PvP also was not where it should be. Players that were unaware of the exploit will see no change in the drop rate they were experiencing before this update. Only players who discovered this bug and were using it as a means to quickly farm essences in ways they were never supposed to drop will be affected.
