Mythic items still are found in locked crates n some elite chests (can't remember the full name of them atm).
The only mythics not dropping anymore are the weapons. To get mythic weapons from crates n chests u have to wait for mythic events to come.

Same here, as a mage I would love to add some passive armor, but atm its a waste of points
