World map?

I've noticed on screen shots from iPhones that the word map is in the center bottom of the screen next to some of the talk buttons. Is the only way to access the world map on android from the pulldown menu when you click your name/healthbar?

That's actually the zone map down at the bottom. The world map is reached either from the pulldown menu as you mentioned, or from the menu after leaving a zone.
