gem woes

Between my main and alts I've got to be near 100 gems/regems. I've got 1 exceptional.

I understand making them rare but.... This is ridiculous.

Same. The first two exceptionals came quick in less than 10 gems. Have about 12 total after using tons of plat and time. Been through over 300 gems and got maybe 2. It's worse than arcane luck. (Over $3k USD invested in fun... no arcane. Lol)

Then again, you see these lucky players posting 8-10 items on the CS with full exceptionals. My guess is they are guild driven teams or dev/mods sneaking a few items in the mix.

It's another money making scheme consistent with a casino grandma penny machine gamble. some old ladies have all the luck. lol.

They should really look into the luck ratio logic within the programming. My first theory is... you might get 15% luck with lep on high end items, but if 100 people are using lep, your luck is more like 1.5% for that item. My second theory is... the more of that item in game, the less your odds are.

I am on the edge of just giving up with these exceptional gems.. I waste time/gold on Gems and I have to spend more time to upgrade it.. It gets very disappointing very quickly.

I think, at the rate I'm going, I will fully craft all my gear to full-exceptional in the next 3 expansions (with my horrible luck).

In general... not just gems. Probably spent a couple hundred trying for exceptionals. If you cant afford it, its best to not waste your money. Just upgrade side gear. That way you can still play while you wait.

Same for the poor peeps: As for plat, if you buy, use it on lix. Don't waste it on gem upgrades and locked. Its a high risk gamble. 1/1000.
