I've recently done the same as well and have not gotten any response other than the automated email.

It takes time. They will send you an email upon sending the request saying it will take 3 business days but it depends how many support requests they have to reply to. I've had it take as little as a few days to as much as 2 weeks.

Always send 2/3 emails at a time. It works. And expect the platinum in a week or next week. Even if it's late, I eventually get my plat.
Don't send 1 email at a time, it usually fails for me then.

They took a week to reply in my case. I was owed about 500 pearls in BD. I only received 90. Apparently the trick is for them to wait as long as they can so your offers become "expired". That way they don't have to reward you everything.
They have a really bad customer service. >_>

Sometimes when I'm just pvping "93 Platinum has been added to your account" would pop up. Key is patience and more importantly spamming STS with emails.
I completed the kobo offer for 784 plat during the event, without recieving the plat after 2 hrs, and I emailed them requesting my plat. They emailed back a week later saying sorry, offers after 7 days will expire. Well obviously... *facepalm*
