Ccosmos Robe only +3 armor???

I finally bought a Cosmos Robe for my Mage. I don't use my Mage much in ao3, but I was hoping thE robe might have helped a bit. Yeah...well, it only gives +3 armor over the metallic robe. That's ridiculous. How can the best armor available for a Mage be so flimsy? All it adds is more m/s, which I already had plenty of.

Do the devs not see how badly they screwed up with some of the ao3 equipment (or should I say most of it?)? Something seriously needs to be done about the lack of ms for rift and lack of defense for cosmos. I used to really enjoy my Mage pre-ao3, but now it's just become a mule

Its got high health regen. Plus Metallic is lvl 50 gear from ao3 so why would you expect cosmos to be way better? Both are dropped at nearly the same rate. Only reason cosmos is so much more and metalic is so little is because even though both are good, everyone wants the best and scraps the others.

They dun drop at same rate. Plus metallic robe has good def, and u cant just compare to a item, specifically say how many def it gives.

no your right. In my opinion metallic robe might even be better.
1. It has less m/s.
Well you dont need any more m/s because you have over 30 already.

2. less defense
The defense is only 3 armour points lower. Meaning no real significant different

The metallic robe however, does have +3 damage, 3% hit and 4% crit.

Except I couldnt look at myself in a metallic robe any longer. They look like lvl 1 robes. I felt like such a pauper wearing it that I just had to go buy a cosmos already.

Anyway, I hope it will be balanced out with the new changes coming.
