Oh and do you have to buy anything to get beyong level 13?

No, but it would be tedious to level up. With the DLC, you get many more items and more fun. By paying for the DLC, you are helping these guys keep the game free

The reason it would be annoying and tedious is that you would have to play the same levels over again, but remember, there is loot to find

Theres a delete option in the reply edit section. i know this because I accidentaly triple posted ;P. Yeah I bought the first dlc and will probably buy the second. Its odd however that you can only level up on the specific level. I.e even if youbuy the dlc youcan't level up on eearlier levels only the ones in the dlc. Im suffering a bit because of my lack of defence. Ive died 43 time XD. Yet ive kille over 430 so its still in a ration of 10:1...

It was my understanding from a previous post that you cannot level beyond 13 without purchasing the next map pack because then you are more than 3 levels above the monsters, even on the last free map level.
