Follow up bug fix patch for Arcane Legends on 12/10

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to post a note about some things that the Dev Team is working on to patch out later today:

Improving Consignment Shop Search
As some of you noticed, we changed how the Consignment Shop was delivering the list of what was for sale in the update on Monday. This was because how the game was doing search before was pretty expensive in terms of performance. We changed it to include a cache so you wouldn't have to hit the database so frequently when searching around. We've noted the feedback about this and have several improvements that should be going out later today to address these issues.

Reverse the Curse Quest bug fix
We found an issue with the Reverse the Curse daily quest where it wasn't completing for everyone after Thorbold was defeated. Our apologies for not catching this one sooner.

Missing Stats on some gear
We found that some items were missing stats for specific level ranges. This mostly affected "of Versatility" items for Tarlok Vestments and Frozen Armaments.

We'll be posting patch notes when the patch goes out. Again, our apologies for not catching these issues in our internal test process and thanks in advance for your understanding.

The Dev Team is also working on some difficulty tweaks of the bosses for different level ranges (I think low to mid is where they are looking closer at) to make some adjustments to make those bosses a bit easier.

I don't like the changes to the consignment shop. The caching leads to misleading pricing. I can't trust what I see in CS now.

The cache is now refreshed every 30 seconds.

'Hope for Frozen Hope' sounds like the one in question here. Our thought process on this is that the event goes for about a month, and the Savior achievement requires completion of 15 rounds of the daily quests, which is a small portion of that month. Tarlok can be encountered through normal free play via the portals that spawn after an eligible boss dies, and we have calculated that it's reasonable to expect fighting him more than enough times in the time available for a casual player.

Having said this, we are keeping eyes on it. We naturally can tweak the spawn chance of Tarlok if necessary but for now we do not see a reason to be alarmed or wary of what may happen.

We encourage you to play through the event!

I don't like this change because prices on some items change faster then every 30 seconds. But I guess this is one way to take advantage of people when merching.

i think the bosses are just right, not too hard for me but not too easy either, i like that there is a little bit of a challenge

Very quick question regarding to the next expansion, just to have a little knowledge and awareness. When is the new expansion? I might be off a couple of days maybe weeks cause of personal reasons most likely soon, so if you can help me out with the data id appreciate it. Thanks
