Class that is good in aoe and dps

Its actually not a hybrid but a full INT mage that does this.

Bears main role is to tank.

Pure int mages are best AoErs and they have best AoE DPS. If u r looking for single target DPS with potent AoE dmg, pure dex bird is also an option

If we measuer single target damage made in 1-2 seconds, bear would have really high number, propably more than birds. But bears can deal huge bursts of damage with ragebuff and all slashes and birds can keep going and deal constant dps.

Also bear is capable to tank more and beckonstomp has bigger aoe than cruel blast so i would suggest him bear

When compared to a dex bird, effective damage output of an endgame bear is clearly lower. Certainly when he is strength spec.
The smashed combo does have a bigger area and effects more mobs, cruel blast deals more damage.

Bears' advantages are tanking and crowd control abilities - as damage dealer dex birds and int mages are the obvious picks.

The best at tanking and crowd control is str/dex bear with just enough dex to have the bear have 100% hit so his key moves work

The best at aoe damage is a full int mage

The best at dot is a full dex fox

The best at team support is a 50/50 int/str rhyno

Anything other then this can work but not to the effectiveness of what I stated above. Most just splash str for survivability but sacrafice the effectiveness of there main role. Hope this helped.

This, Str bears main job is to tank as what my uncle stated.

And the best for what you want(best aoe and dps) would be full int mage.

The str/int mage cant compete with a full int mage since the str used increases survivability but decreases dps since int gives more damage then the str attribute. It also decreases aoe damage since your skill damage decreases by putting point in str as instead of int and more skill damage means more dps in your aoe attacks.

The dex/int mage cant compete either since the skill damage also goes down alot but not enough to make up for the slight increase in dps.

No other class but the bird has enough moves to even attempt to compete with a mage and he comes short by alot. A bear or bird dealing more aoe with one move means nothing since the point of anything is to be consistant. Consistancy is the key!

Foxes don't deal any dot damage. Those things you're referring to are actually h/s debuffs.
