Actually when you think about it, they are kinda great deal in comparison...

Yellow/Green forgotten items
- cost more
- you can only wear them in town
- do not hide ugly L75 gear
- noobs don't appreciate your eliteness cause they don't know how much these go for

Regalia/Alien
- everything less than a cap is cheap
- you can wear them in town, pve and pvp
- hides ugly L75 gear
- noobs know from cs that it's expensive

But yeah, definitely rumors. STS is currently in an "I don't care about PL" stage. I doubt they will implement anything new anytime soon.
