Announcing the next expansion coming to Arcane Legends:

Dragon Enclave

The Heroes of Arlor fought a brave battle against Tarlok during the December event in Arcane Legends, Tarlok’s Wrath. However, the calm after the hard won battle against Tarlok will be short lived. The Dragon Enclave is coming to life! Sensing the demise of a fellow Dragon within the lands of Arlor, they’ll soon take to the skies to punish the Arlorians for their insolence.

Coming in late February, the newest expansion of Arcane Legends will take you the remote land of Tindirin where you’ll have to help your fellow Arlorians face-off against Dragons and the dangerous tribal natives of Tindirin, known as the Dragkin.

New Features:
New level cap – You can now reach level 41
New areas to explore, such as the wild jungle and the treacherous mountain pass
3 New Pets to collect
New Armor, Weapons and Gear
New quests and content that lead to the final confrontation against Lord Rendtail, Lord of the Dragons!

As was posted above in the announcements, the new expansion "dragon enclave" is arriving soon in arlor. The expansion involves some cool sounding new maps and a whole new enemy to fight: DRAGONS
A lot of people have been wondering how this will affect the gear market, and if their upgraded mythics will still be useful. They will be roughly equivalent to the lvl 41 legendaries, but dont rush to get the new gear so fast: staggering the items

With the release of the upcoming expansion, we will be staggering new item release over time. There will be less “filler” items. Then, a little further down the road, we will release additional content that hold the potential for different or improved items.

With the staggered release of new gear, you’ll have new things to get excited about more often. Rather than just getting everything there is at the very beginning and a longer wait for something new, we will be offering more frequent content with gear improvements.

Basically the best items will not be available when the update comes. I would still go and try to get the best new items, but know that new ones will be coming out as the expansion progresses. besides there is less of a wait for a new expansion with the best gear
