You mean skills? I suggest you go with this build if you want to do mainly PvE (for PvP, im not a pro at it but with this build I got kdr of 6/10 too )
-Fire : 5/5 . Some say scorch isnt helpful, but I think differently. In PvE mobs and bosses always use their normal attack, so it will help avoid some. In PvP people prefer to use skills, so its not helpful.
-Ice : 4/5 - except ice path. This skill will help you freeze/slow a group of mobs, which will help a lot in elites.
-Clock : 5/5 - this skill is awesome. It roots mobs, which saves your life most of the time or just keep you safe with your ranged attacks and skills
-Shield : 4/5 - except pushing enemies away. With or without mythics, this skill will help a lot with your survival. Some say go with lightning instead of this but I dont like lightning that much, it is not very useful and only damages one mob/boss.

Strength/Intel balance is easy. 100% Int. At low levels I used a 10:1 Int/Str build but the straight Int is better.

For PvE pots are faster and more reliable. Lifegiver is for PvP only. To use it in PvE is a waste of a slot. Waiting for it to cool off or charge got me killed more often than not having it at all. You do your party more favors to have an extra offensive skill than to try to 'support.'

Full offense is usually best. Fire, Ice, Light, TS. I also spec Shield to sub in for TS or Light when I need a little defence for bosses.

    Any coments on mine?

Fire 4/5 : All but scorch
Sheild 4/5 : All but pushback
Curse 3/5 : All but words of weakening and lingering curse
Time 3/5 : All but Bomb and countdown
Ice 3/5 : All but jagged ice and ice patch
    Heal 1/5

    Passives

    Int 5/5
    Str 5/5

    Have 4 points left.

How to improve? What to remove, what to add?

You need to decide between the frostbolt aoe stun playstyle or curse so drop whatever you like best. You can still control and do aoe damage without frostbolt but i feel frostbolt just adds more control and dot damage and clock and fireball are must have skills imo. Waste to have both skills imo even though curse may be better damage at bosses. You have to have countdown on time shift, mages strength comes from the fact that they are damaging many targets at a time with aoe dot damage. Same goes for frost bolt, you must have jagged ice for its dot damage. You do not need heal even though others may be angry you don't have it. They should uninstall the game if it's too hard to play with a mage without heal. Pots are easy to use and cheap to buy. Passives are huge and i see people who choose crit over damage or strength which i don't agree with. of course crit helps but it is RNG and 5% is not going to outweigh 5% damage increase at all times. As for strength, it is a must have imo. Gives you bonus absorbtion to shield and a nice hp increase. Choice of dex and crit if you have enough points is yours but strength and damage greatly outweigh the other two imo as i prefere not to be a complete glass cannon in choosing to not take strength but thats my playstyle and others choose diff passives based on their own playstyles. No passive or skill choice is wrong as people have their own playstyles they like even if some points may clearly be a better choice

I have used heal + mana until last respec and I am now using shield. I had to get used to it a lot because normally when doing normal maps I would simply heal myself if I had a bit of damage or needed mana. Next to that I could support other people if I saw them low on hp/mana or when they asked me to.

But now I need to use potions in normal maps so that feels like a big difference.

Now in Elite the heal was nowhere near enough to save myself so I needed to use pots anyway and the same counts for other people. You might save a few potions here and there with the heal + mana skill but you will not save lives. Unless you keep a close eye on your team members and then get close to them and heal them when they need it. But then you will not be able to support them by blasting all those mobs around them.

I have found that the heal skill is nice and that I liked helping people with it. But in Elite it is never enough to really make a difference - people need to use pots in Elite and they should not rely on your heal skill.

We aren't a mobile hospital. Tell them to use pots or just ignore them. Your job is crowd control and AOE damage.

When I get demanded for heal, I asked them if they had 1k gold. Really. Whats the big deal that people cant use their spare coins to buy the pots. Why must they rely on someone else but themselves? Are the pots too unaffordable? You do daily quests, get thoundsands of gold but cant spare 1k gold on pots that you can use many times? Blame yourself but the sorcs. Even in normal maps, if the mobs really do not do so much damage as elite, why cant they use pots when they lose less hp? How many pots will they use in normal maps, 4 or 5? LOL.

On the other hand, I (and others) believe that the sorc's heal agros mobs too, like warrior's, so you wont want all the mobs in the area to attack yourself but the tank.

You are running with the wrong crowd. Any end game player who can't afford pots is not one you want to party with.

It's been proven that heal is not effective in elite maps. Pulls mad aggro and causes more deaths for the whole party. Toons that can't afford or don't want to spam pots have no business in elites.

Imo, 5% increase move speed is waste of points. Better spend it on crit because your clock DoTs can crit. Or damage passive (does not show in stats but increases dmg).
Also, first upgrade in Frost isnt needed. Because you can freeze mobs around your target anyways if they are close enough.
    I'd rather spend points elsewhere.
I posted this build and there are some tips: http://www.spacetimestudios.com/show...erer-PvE-Build maybe it can help you but yeah, everyone has their own opinion.
    Cheers
