help newb pvper!

So was just getting my feet wet with pvp, and a bird with a nice sword and skull shield was destroying me. Like one shot killz. I was wondoring what is the best spec and gear for a 50 bird? Right now iam full dex with wraith armor, jacob helm, sunblessed bow. and what strats are there for birds vs certin classes/specs. Thanx any help is great.

ok you should max out your buffs first, and offensive arrows. It looks like you were fighting a str bird which as now you won't win against a str bird unless you kite him to the extreme, because he can hit the same as you rougly, with the same range, but he has the defense of an ursan.
