Default SLAG or HAZE for Sorcerer

Which pet you you like better? Currently my Haze is lvl 35 and my Slag is only lvl 20
    Which is better for PVE?

They both have + movement, and + Damage, But Haze does have the 8 mana regen.

    Thoughts?

I wouldn't really even put the 2 in the same class. Slag is def the better pet, hence the mythic status and 250 plat price tag. Don't get me wrong haze is awesome and well worth 90 plat. Haze's arcane doesn't compare to Slag's though.

Haze is the better 'value' plat for plat IMO but slag is better overall.

Slags ignite and panic can be a serious life save in a pinch and at level 30 his passive hits multiple targets with a chance to lower dam by 10%, enemy speed by 30%, and a chance to do additional damage as well.

Haze's arcane ability does dam and can lower hit by 15%, armor by 10%, and has a massive AoE and at lvl 15 his passive hits multiple targets with a chance to lower hit and armor by another 10% for 3 seconds.

The biggest issue i have with Haze is that his passive attack is ranged, meaning that you will have to be mindful of his position to mobs in order to make the most out of his arcane ability, which can be a real threat if you know where and when to hit it - with Slag you don't have to worry as much because he is a melee pet that will be right in the thick of it if you activate his arcane ability, making him a somewhat more user friendly pet.

The happiness bonus is also where Slag shines, but that's a given.

    @Instant

A pet is only as good as the user, Lol.

I have a lv 36 slag, and it the best mythic pet you can have. he lights everything he does not like on fire and he makes punching bags out of the pirates in kraken.
Plus his arcane can make a boss and his baddies roasted.

Sorry I misread. I was talking about PvP, stun and extra movement speed doesn't matter to me, because Slag gives no crit whatsoever. With no crit, you will die, now PvE is a different story.

@Steverd Lv. 20 Colton is good. It's passive stun is OP.

I've been doing a lot of pve in WT4 lately... I use Haze more than I used Slag, I just seem to be able to kill more.

You have both. I don't see the issue lol.

+8 Mana isn't really that big at cap for a mage. If it was then heal skill would actually be useful.

Once you get slag to 35 you can compare him to haze and see who u prefer.

I have both. Slag for everything. Haze was only good on my warrior. Wasted on my mage

Say what? The speed boost is awesome, and the arcane ability is great for mages, it lowers defense and hit chance in one go which is perfect for survival and dropping mobs fast because of the damage we pump out.

Haze is good for a mage.

    Not sure if srs.

Haze is not a wasted pet on a mage. Its one of the best I rotate for elite maps.

People sometimes still use "thus" so using "hence" is not that surprising. Lot of Italian's use "ergo". I haven't seen anyone except maybe in a thesis use the word "conclusion". You can see a lot of old world English words in law documents or contracts. Makes you wonder why they can't just use simplified modern English.
