Out goes the good and in comes the bad
SL has been going downhill ever since it lost its main support, and it fell so easily because it doesn't have any core content that will stand over long periods of time (Like PL which has many things to stay alive over long periods). This led to many of the great and honorable players from abandoning ship and heading off to other games while the scammers then see this as an opportunity to take advantage of the new players and harvest what they can from the dying SL community.
Who knows what will happen now. Maybe STS will do as the company that made Loadout and just get enough money with not-so-great titles to make the game that they wanted to in the first place.
