I wonder if a weapon like this would have low DPS but higher damage than a Maul type weapon?

I think another spear type weapon (the glaive is type of spear apparently) but with a poison proc would be a nice touch to coincide with the tribal theme in the next expansion

Weapons in AL could be more various if there were two weapon slots for each hand. Then there could be next weapons/weapon combinations: 2-handed sword/axe/maul, 1-handed sword/axe/maul + shield, two 1-handed swords/axes/mauls, two shields (true PvE lol) and there were skills for each holding type.

Nice idea, but a Morning Star would fit the game better cause idk how the would fit a chain in the swinging format.

Typically a morning star has the chain. A mace, on the other hand, has the distinction of generally NOT having any fangs (the term for the spikes). Maces can have fangs, but morning stars cannot be blunt.

This is one of those a square is a rectangle but a rectangle isn't a square situations.
