Is it possible to still get a 3yr shield, if someone uses a newer account but still has a 3yr account? Like maybe their forum account has been around for 3 years, and they have had an old account but the account they currently use is new?

Shouldn't the blue and gold PL shield be a 1 year award instead of two 6 month awards? Keeps a constant theme going imo

It will automatically be awarded by the system when you hit 3 years. So, to answer your question Argyros, it would be awarded to your old account with the sign up date of 3+ years.
