    How is this not good for mages? Last I heard crit was a good thing in smurfland (although like everyone else damage is better) and you can use this shield while your skill one is in cooldown, making you a supersmurf. Really, I think some people just complain for the sake of complaining.

    So that means the green dragon will be a legendary pet? CHEERS!!!!
    On paper the thing may look OP, but not on reality. Look at Singe! See how much people were willng to pay for it at first, and now its like 30m and maybe will go down in the future because it cant be a "new" pet forever I dont think the passive is so good, and happiness is decent because who would need 160 mana and 8 mana regen? Only crit and 20 primary stat is good. And, I like how STS make something new, not just another "stun and smash" pet.
    If you say 1k5 absorb shield is OP, Dont you think even with the short 5s stunned you can deal much more damage? a crit aimed is now 3k, it might reach 4k in lvl 41.

    I thought the devs were fixing the re-summon issue, which makes makes any pet op, not just this one.

    That is what needs fixing, the pet is fine.

    It absorbs exactly 100% according to what Ami said. And also twisting the AA is totally out of the question even if you try to resummon the pet since you have a buff on your character that shows you recently received a Scorch AA buff which prevents you from getting it again. Smart move by STS to avoid the abuse of this AA.

    Excellent. So question. Is the damage absorbed calculated per person, or is the 1800 damage absorbed combined between all the shields created by the AA?

    Per person. It would be totally useless if say 1800 damage was divided amongst the whole party.

    You cannot spam this pet's AA. For the 12 seconds after activating it once, any re-activations are canceled.

    This is a rogue pet. A total of 1765 damage will be absorbable at 41. Damage reduction is around 30-35%, assuming it's not affected by level.

    Don't say hilarious things like strategies with this and sorcerers, a level 35 rogue can crit an Aimed Shot >= 1800 fairly often. But hey, at least you'll die with 80% mana left.

    I have a mage with over 15K ap, thank you very much. I am not just a rogue you can tell to shut up because you have a chip on your shoulder. My post was valid.

    It doesn't absorb 100% after a few hits the shield goes away b4 the 13 secs. Why is it even a shield if it isn't gonna protect me the entire 13. I think it needs to protect u completely. Maybe not in PvP but definitely pve

    I think the reason singe price has gone down (and any other high priced item for that matter) is because the people willing to pay those absurd prices already have it. Now the second/third tier of players will pay significantly less.

    Its not very effective at lvl 10. At all. It helps for maybe 3-5 secs then goes away. I find this goes against the whole arcane ability of a shield.

    At end game, I think the class that benefits the most are warriors. Any damage reduction they get adds already to their near immortality. Even though the amount of damage absorbed is capped, any damage is calculated after damage is reduced by armor. We will see but there are some obvious ways to abuse this pet. And I am not talking about pet spamming.
