Its drop rate already low, I don't wanna imagine farming 150 of these with elite bosses...

I have 1 tooth after 20ish kills. At that rate it would take a normal player 3 years to get enough teeth to get anything
The elites will probably drop multiple every time. Think of it as the next evolution of the Tarlok event coins. Right now the teeth rarely dropping from a normal boss is just a gimme to give people an excuse to kill time and test game mechanics.

Teeth will still be dropped from normal bosses. The teeth just drop more frequently from Elite bosses.
