So, I understand these have an insanely low drop rate. I've been running 15-20 zones a day and I only have 6.

And that's perfectly fine.

But I also think there might be something wrong with the drop mechanism.

After finishing a boss, occasionally, a white circle of light will pop out of the corpse like a piece of loot. It's got a little animation effect in the center, a bit like a tornado. But when you walk over the circle, there is nothing there.

Is this some glitchy attack proc effect or is that supposed to be a tooth?

I see the same thing sometimes. Everytime I'm like, OMG loot!....but it's nothing

The dragon has no white circle of light when hes dead..

I think its the skill that make him has the white circle of light..

Yes, since it's related to the chance of dragkin dropping you wouldn't see the lighted spot every time. I think the problem was or is (it hasn't occurred to me after the firework patch) that the actual drop of the teeth and the light effect on the ground weren't connected.

Correcting myself, the light is the aftermath of Drake's special attack (the one with the huge wind circle around). It just stays after death.

Edit: It's more like a buff to himself and guards, not attack. And the light seems to stay only when guards are taken out before breaking the egg.
