I do pink and gold give aways(like 10 mil ) ones a month just look for me. Also I only spent like $2k which is like $500 a year or like $42 a month.

Wow that sound kinda bad but can't be as bad as only 10mil limit. I just sold a Marlin to fossilized and he game me 10 million in gold and 10 mil in pinks. Then I went to deposit it but found that my stash was full then had to go through 112 toons to only find that I had to make a 113 toon. Fossilized was ****ing brick thinking I scammed him. I am a very respected and trusted player(which is why he was putting 24 mil then the final 10mil and me putting the marlin) but do you know how long it takes to look through 112 toons and make 1 and level it to 4. Enough to make him doubt even me (and rightfully which is why I gave him 5 mil for free). I normally don't complain but it's getting out of hand please increase the cap.

P.S I apologies again Fossilized I know you knew I would eventually finalize the trade but it's still worry some none the less.

100 mil really isn't a ton, its a black dragon set, a couple 71 elites or even collectibles. Back when regular dragon was 10mil+ a piece I got 4 drops in a row at feast and made 40 mil just off of that.

On topic though, yes please raise the gold cap + the auction/trading cap

I'm gonna actually gonna agree with Zues, the cap raising isn't going to cause inflation, it will cause more productivity for people to get money. Like think about it, the higher it is, the harder people will try to achieve it, however there is a slight chance of items becoming worthless when they were once expensive, and the other way around, expensive items becoming more than the cap if it were to be raised to 100m, just imagine black drag set at like 500m. But only time will tell, and we shape things that goes on in PL, so do keep advocating.

I can't stress enough how important it is for this to be implemented, this certainly isn't the first thread made about this.
The items that are discontinued, but still able to be traded and sold about such as Marlins, Sea Blasters, Twisters, Gold/Green Forgottens, and Black Dragon, have people unwilling to sell simply because of the trade system.
You simply cannot trust someone to trade you 4/5 times+ with items or gold enough to get these items.

So many scams and disputes are a result of this limit of 10m gold per character.
Could we please get a response from the Dev team on this?

Also I've seen screen shots of old school PL days having 26m + on one character at a time. So it would seem the trouble here wouldn't be upping the gold on the character, but rather CS where players would end up posting some of these things.

It's definitely possible, bud. I had like 30M in sewers cap.

But, if what Emagency means is the screenshots of 26m on one character, that is impossible. Somebody either photoshopped or used a number editor. I believe you are referring to Physiologic's screenshot of his gold? That was faked.

I've been playing since the DROID release in November 20th and as far as I'm concerned cap has never been over 10mil. Zeus is even more old school then me so his comment is probably the most accurate here.
