Savage Crafting Recipies VS Buying Them

I'm going to start on working towards a Savage set for my bear and I'm not sure which method would be more efficient:
a) Farm the recipes and ingredients and buy the rest.
b) Buy the recipes, farm ingredients, buy the rest.
c) Save up a ton of money and buy the set outright.
I find b) difficult because it would take 120 Plat. Please give your opinion on what method I should use and how to do it best. I'm leaning towards a), but am not sure how rare the drops are or not.

Drops are very rare, just save up money and buy the set.

in the end, it all depends "how" you want to get them (as in how you wanna play ur game) and how lucky u are
dun worry bout the recipes, it's the L75 main item u should worry about. Besides, if u want the "undergarment" achievement, u need to wear full set L75 uncrafted.
but if all u want is jz savage set, then as azataso said, farm hard, save money(gold) and buy.
